Fill Your Application
Complete the account opening form online through our website or digital app, or visit any BNMB branch across Sudan. Our team will guide you through each field.
Verify Your Identity
Provide a valid form of identification for verification. For digital accounts, this is done through our biometric verification system — secure, fast, and fully remote.
Activate & Bank
Once your account is approved, receive your debit or Visa card and activate it to begin banking. Digital account holders can start transacting immediately via the Mashreg App.

What You'll Need
Prepare the following documents and information to ensure a smooth account opening experience.
National ID / Passport
A valid Sudanese National Identity Card or Passport. For Digital Account, biometric verification is performed through the Mashreg App.
Proof of Address
A recent utility bill, rental agreement, or any official document that confirms your current residential address in Sudan.
Initial Deposit
An initial deposit is required to activate your personal account. The amount varies by account type. Contact a branch for current minimums.
Passport Photo
One recent passport-sized photograph for your account records. Digital account holders use the in-app biometric selfie instead.
Visit a Branch
Our staff are ready to assist you with account opening, documentation, and any questions you may have. Walk in anytime during banking hours.
